INTRODUCTION TO TECHNICAL DRAWINGS
This assignment requires our observational skills to accurately map out the specific forms and shapes of an object. We were required to produce a plan, elevations and sections view of the object which we selected and approved by our tutor due to showcase our ability to convert 3D objects into orthographic drawings.

PROGRESS
Before embarking on this task, our task is to obtain a suitable object for use. For example, the object had to be smaller than a 4-sized paper and symmetrical in one direction. This is to ensure that the difficulty of the task is retained. After thorough discussions with my lecturer, I decided on a rather challenging object: a strange traditional cup.

-
After specifying my object, I went to work on completing the drawings. A plan, 3 elevations and section of the object. Starting from the sketch of the object, I made sure that all necessary dimensions are measured correctly to create an accurate representation on paper. Throughout the past few weeks, I have gained some useful information in the tutorials to help me improve my drawing level.

-
Near the submission date of the assignment, I polished my drawings to make sure it included dimension line, border and title block. This assignment is the first time I came into contact with the need to create effective measurement instructions and information header blocks for each drawing.
